Good article on the foreign ATVs that Thomas Roderick wrote in your September issue. You missed several big ones, though. Storm Power Products out of Miami was at the Dealer Expo. They won't say which OEM in China they represent, and I haven't a clue, but I think they sell about 2,000 minis a year. They have a 250cc they're promoting this year and expect to introduce a 400cc and 600cc later this year. Also, Kazuma Pacific, a distributor for Stannic Motors, is another biggie you missed.
They were also at the Indy trade show last February. They've been selling a 250cc for a couple of years now in addition to a 50cc and 100cc. They sold over 2,000 units last year over eBay and could sell 4,000 this year through dealers. Finally, Yerf-Dog (Flexible Flyer): They were selling a 150cc in 2001 through early 2003 at Costco stores. I think they were built by Sundiro in China, and there could have been as many as 5,000 sold in this time frame.
